Please read this document if you are the artist and wishes to use your song on the 7BG Workshop.
It is totally possible for you to post your level using your own songs. However, if your name is not recognized by 7th Beat Games, it may be temporarily flagged for confirmation.
We are maintaining the Workshop with good faith. However, please note that if it is a false claim, the relevant party can raise an objection and may face corresponding actions, such as DMCA takedown.
First of all, thank you for making custom levels with our game! We take your rights very seriously, and would like to ask you some questions before publishing your work through our Steam Workshop.
Please let us know if you'll use your songs for you only, or let others to use your song.
If it is just for you, no further steps are required. If the level was flagged before, we will unflag your level in the form of an one-time approval after the confirmation.
If you agree with our usage policy and would like to allow other users to use your content, please provide the following information in the form of written permission. Consider that you are writing the guideline to people who wants to use your content.
Please let us know which songs are you allowing. We recommend you only allowing music to which you have all the rights.
Example 1) Original songs are allowed. Remixes and mashups are not allowed. Example 2) Some songs are allowed. Others are not allowed.
7th Beat Games may voluntarily prohibit some songs even with permission. Please refer to the Songs that cannot be used even with permission page.
Please leave your profile link, such as Soundcloud, Bandcamp, YouTube pages.
Your permission will be posted as proof on our verified artists list, and will be available to anyone browsing the website.
